September was considerably warmer than average and in many regions in the country, it was the hottest September, since the beginning of measurements. In the Coastal plain and the Shfela, September 2015 was hotter or similar during daytime.

September has set new records not only for monthly average – in the first part of the month, a heat spell broke records both in terms of its temperatures as well as with its length.
