April was considerably rainier than average all over the country and in some regions it ranks third to fifth compared to the past. The rains mostly fell over the course of two occasions, one in the middle of the month, during which there were floods in the southern streams with casualties and fatalities, and the other at the end of the month.
The periods of rain were characterized by cool weather, but there were also several days of sharav during the month, so all in all April was close to average temperatures.
Following the rainy month, there has been a further reduction in the deficit of the accumulated rainfall amounts since the beginning of the season, and it now reaches about 90% of the average for the entire season on a national level.
