Another precipitation-rich system has covered our region, joining a series of similar systems experienced during the month of December. Throughout the event, tens of millimeters of rainfall were recorded from the northern part of the country to the northern Negev, resulting in flooding in various areas. In contrast to previous events, the current system was also characterized by strong winds, with gusts exceeding 80 km/h.

Following the substantial rainfall and preceding events during the month, cumulative seasonal precipitation amounts exceed the average for the corresponding period in the majority of the country, with the exception of the northeastern region.
