April was rainier than average in the north and east of Israel, close to average in the centre and dry in the south of the country.

The rainfall amounts since the beginning of the season till the end of April exceed the average in almost all the parts of the country and reach 130% for the entire rainy season and at some places, even more than 160% of the average amount.

The temperatures in April were slightly below average. There were several Sharav days during the month, yet no extreme temperatures were recorded during these days.
